1. General Provisions
1.1. Elcro OÜ mediates the manufacturer’s warranty and warranty procedures for devices sold in the online store but does not perform warranty repairs itself.
1.2. In the absence of an authorized service center, warranty repairs are arranged by Elcro OÜ in cooperation with the importer or manufacturer.
1.3. Warranty service is based on the sales document issued by Elcro OÜ and a device with an intact and legible serial number. If the serial number is damaged or illegible, the warranty provider has the right to refuse free warranty service.
2. Warranty Period
2.1. All products sold in the Elcro OÜ online store are covered by a minimum 24-month warranty for private consumers, unless stated otherwise in the product description.
2.2. For legal entities, the warranty period is determined by the manufacturer or importer.
2.3. The warranty period begins on the date the product is handed over to the buyer.
2.4. The warranty period is suspended for the time during which the buyer cannot use the product due to non-conformity with the contract and the product is undergoing warranty repair.
2.5. The duration of the warranty period and any response or service times are determined by the manufacturer or importer.
2.6. Warranty Extension (Additional Warranty)
2.6.1. An additional warranty package (e.g. +3 years) can be purchased separately in the Elcro OÜ online store. It is valid only when purchased together with the corresponding product and within the same order.
2.6.2. One additional warranty package applies to one specific product. If the customer wishes to add an extended warranty to multiple products, a corresponding number of warranty extension packages must be purchased.
2.6.3. The additional warranty cannot be purchased or applied retroactively after the product has been purchased.
2.6.4. The warranty extension is linked to the relevant product based on the sales document and order, and no separate registration is required.
2.6.5. The warranty extension is not transferable to other products or orders.
2.6.6. The warranty extension takes effect after the manufacturer’s standard warranty expires, unless stated otherwise in the product description.
3. Warranty Repairs
3.1. Warranty repairs are carried out at a service center authorized by the manufacturer or importer.
3.2. If no authorized service center exists, Elcro OÜ arranges the warranty repair through the manufacturer or importer.
3.3. The buyer must deliver the product requiring warranty repair to the service center or proceed according to Elcro OÜ’s instructions. For detailed information, please contact us by email: info@elcro.eu.
3.4. If repair of the product under warranty is not possible and production of the product has ended, the manufacturer or importer will replace the product under warranty with an equivalent or better product.
3.5. In addition to warranty rights, the consumer also has other statutory rights, including the right to submit a claim in accordance with § 218 (2) of the Law of Obligations Act.
4. Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty does not cover the following cases and damages:
4.1. Consumable parts, as well as packaging and documentation.
4.2. User data lost due to device failure or during warranty repair. Data backup is the responsibility of the buyer.
4.3. Software, including pre-installed software, and malfunctions or operational issues caused by software.
4.4. Damage caused by intentional or unintentional physical damage, as well as liquids, dust, insects, or other foreign objects entering the device.
4.5. Damage caused by power outages, voltage fluctuations, or faulty electrical systems.
4.6. Damage caused by the use of non-original parts or unsuitable accessories.
4.7. Failures and damage resulting from improper use of the device or failure to follow the user manual, including use in environmental conditions different from normal operating conditions.
5. Important Information
5.1. The warranty does not limit or exclude the buyer’s statutory rights.
5.2. These warranty terms apply in conjunction with Elcro OÜ’s Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.
