Elcro GO Smart Door Lock (ASSA 565 / 510 / M5000 compatibility)

Elcro GO is a smart and well-designed door lock solution for doors equipped with ASSA 565 or similar lock case cut-outs. It allows a smart lock to be installed without drilling additional holes, using the existing lock case and strike plate.

With its minimalist and modern design, Elcro GO fits most doors in Estonia and is available in three color options: black, white, and silver.

Unlocking Methods

Elcro GO can be unlocked in several ways:

• Fingerprint
• PIN code
• RFID key fob / card
• Physical key
• TTLock mobile app via Bluetooth
• Via the internet (Wi-Fi module required)

Installation and Compatibility

Elcro GO is designed primarily for ASSA 565 and similar lock cases commonly used on most doors in Estonia.

• No need to replace the existing lock case or strike plate
• Also compatible with ASSA 510 and M5000 three-point lock cases
• If needed, we can help replace the existing lock case with a suitable one

How Does Elcro GO Work?

Elcro GO operates by controlling the external door handle.

• When the lock is locked, the external handle moves freely and does not open the door
• After successful authentication (fingerprint, code, key fob, app), the handle becomes active and the door can be opened

Locking Modes

🔒 Automatic Locking
The lock automatically engages 5–60 seconds after unlocking.

🔒 Manual Locking
The handle remains active until:

• You press and hold the # button for 1–2 seconds, or
• You lock the door via the app

🔒 Hybrid Locking
You can define time periods when the door:

• Remains unlocked
• Locks automatically

Example: free access during the day, automatic locking in the evening.

Important Information About Lock Cases

ASSA 565

When used with an ASSA 565 lock case:

• The door locks only via the latch bolt
• The external handle is deactivated and moves freely
• The deadbolt does not engage
• Lifting the handle does not activate locking

⚠️ Note: If the door does not have a latch cover, this type of locking may be insecure.

ASSA 510 and M5000 (Recommended Solution)

The combination of Elcro GO with an ASSA 510 or M5000 three-point lock case provides significantly higher security.

In normal use:

• Door closed → handle lifted → locking bolts extend
• After 5 seconds (or a longer set time), the external handle is deactivated
• From the inside, the door can always be opened by pressing the handle down

Additional Safety for Children and Pets

When the door is locked:

• From the inside using the thumb turn, or
• From the outside using a physical key

the handle movement is blocked both inside and outside.

This functions like a safety lock, preventing accidental door opening.

⚠️ Important to know:
If the door is locked from the inside using the thumb turn, it cannot be opened using only the smart lock. In this case, a physical key must be used first.
