USB-C Emergency Power

A USB-C port is located next to the lock cylinder, allowing temporary power to be supplied to the lock in order to open the door. This is a practical backup solution in case the batteries run out unexpectedly or a mechanical key is not available.

How Does Elcro One Work?

The locking mechanism is based on controlling the external door handle:

• When locked, the external handle moves freely and does not open the door.
• After successful authentication (fingerprint, code, key fob, app), the handle becomes active and the door opens.

Locking Modes

• Automatic locking – the lock engages automatically 5–60 seconds after unlocking.
• Manual locking – the handle remains active until you press and hold the # button for 1–2 seconds or lock the door via the app.
• Hybrid locking – allows you to set specific times when the door remains unlocked and when it locks automatically.

How Does Elcro One Differ from Other Smart Locks?

Elcro Neo stands out from many other smart locks due to its design and dimensions. This model has been specifically developed to fit common ASSA ABLOY lock cut-outs where the door has two large circular openings. As a result, Elcro Neo covers existing lock holes cleanly and aesthetically, without the need to modify the door or use additional backplates. The result is a clean appearance and a practical installation suitable for both new and renovated doors.

Locking Mechanism

Elcro One locks automatically when the door is closed. Initial locking is achieved via the latch bolt, which keeps the door securely closed in everyday use. For additional security, the door handle can be lifted, causing the deadbolt to extend from the lock case. This creates the same locking principle as traditional key-based locking, providing stronger mechanical security.
